MOST CLICHE YET IMPORTANT TOPIC TO EXPLORE - TIME MANAGEMENT
This is Stephen Covey’s time management matrix which was mentioned in his book “Seven Habits of highly effective people” .
Analysing all the four Stephen Covey’s TIME MANAGEMENT quadrants:-
Quadrant 1:- Urgent - Important
This are the tasks which needs to be managed urgently. This are the crisis that erupt such as Medical emergencies.๐ฅQuadrant 2:- Not Urgent- Important
This quadrant has tasks which may not give instant results but are important for long term benefits such as attending seminars which could help in building contacts or relationship building exercises with clients. ๐คQuadrant 3:- Urgent - Not Important
This are tasks which seems to be important instantly but prove to be time wasters at the end. This tasks needs to be avoided and smart decisions need to be taken to even manage them when they pop-up. Example:- A phone call from a person which will diminish your productivity.Quadrant 4:- Not Urgent- Not Important
This are the tasks which we might enjoy but need to be highly avoided such as net surfing, scrolling to your feed, playing games, watching entertaining shows which needs to be avoided etc.๐คฆ๐ผ♀️For Respective Quadrant you can have following actions:
- DO it now.
- Delay with Time line.
- Delegate.
- Delete.
I hope I did justice to explain this quadrant which can be very effective if applied.
