How to Mute / Unmute Someone's STORY on INSTAGRAM

DO YOU WANT TO AVOID SOMEONE'S INSTAGRAM STORY?

Some people update on their Instagram stories often. You wish to avoid them 🤫for some days and not unfollow them. In this situation you can MUTE their stories.


When "ASK ME A QUESTION" was introduced on Instagram, I could see lot of people updating multiple stories.

To avoid them for a day or two I used to MUTE their stories and Instagram won't even let them know about it. 🤪

How can you mute/unmute someone on Instagram? 

✔️Tap and hold on the Instagram Story icon of the account you want to mute.

✔️You will receive an option to VIEW PROFILE or MUTE (Refer Image)

✔️Select MUTE and its's done. The story moves in the end of the whole queue and doesn't even get autoplay.

✔️In order to UNMUTE, Tap and Hold on the story icon you have muted and select "Unmute".
